Dear Classmates:

 Yale College has such extraordinarily loyal graduates!  During the 2009-10 fiscal year, the Yale Alumni Fund raised a record-breaking $23.4 million for Yale, with a record $16.8 million going to Yale College.  I am proud that the Class of 1972 did its part:  an impressive 31% of us contributed a total of $221,170, and that doesn't count those of us who made gifts outside the Alumni Fund.  Thank you for your major contributions across the University.  Here's hoping that during 2010-11, with a much-improved economy (I hope!), we can do even better.  Why not give now by clicking on: www.yale.edu/give .  

We owe special thanks to our terrific group of class agents.  These classmates set a good example by making generous gifts themselves, and then invite others to follow that example.  Without their leadership, our class's showing would not be nearly as good.  They are listed below.  If you don't know who your agent is (or if you are one of our classmates to whom an agent has not been assigned), just let me know.  

And if you are able to step forward and join this hardy band, sing out!  It's a great team but reinforcements are always welcome.
