From Dick Sauber:

(October 2010)

Greetings Classmates:

Since the last note I posted on our website contained Holiday Greetings, I feel that I have been remiss in not updating the content, though I sometimes wonder whether anyone ever visits our Class website.

First, some class business: our dues notice will be sent to everyone the week of October 18th.. Please comply!

I went to see The Social Network last week. On the one hand it was a relief to see that undergraduate life looked somewhat familiar (at least in the movie version).  On the other hand- did we talk that fast in 1968? Hard to imagine.

As we and our friends continue to age, I find myself more and more familiar with the vocabulary of disease, easily slipping into a vernacular that seems to define our stage of life.  I now know many cancer survivors, or cancer battlers, or whatever terms best captures what is happening.  I can commend to you all the musings of Christopher Hitchens on these subjects, unleashed by his recent diagnosis of esophageal cancer.

The coming Republican tsunami will mean that Washington's white collar criminal lawyers will be enormously busy, as yet another golden age dawns for our profession in light of the Congressional investigations to come.  Nonetheless, I will have the time to entertain any classmates who come through the nation's capital. please be in touch-

From Rusty Pickett (yale72scribe@aya.yale.edu):

Greetings from your corresponding secretary and web master.  This site is intended to provide interesting information for and about our class and especially our reunion this year.  As such, it will only be as good as the input you provide - I can't create what I don't know!  With your help, suggestions and comments, we can have a bunch of fun with it, while, at the same time, letting our classmates know what is going on in our lives!  Thanks for supporting our class, and I look forward to hearing from you!
